Install Lineage OS 18.1 on Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-I9505 - Custom Rom Android 11

 
Lineage OS is an open-source and free operating system which is based on the Android platform. It is the successor to the custom MOD, the CyanogenMod, which shut down its operation in December 2016. However, Cyanogen. Inc retained the rights to the custom MOD and gave a rebranding to it as Lineage OS.

As far as the latest LineageOS 18 is concerned, it is based on the latest Android 11 that has just been released. This in turn translates to the user getting blessed with some noteworthy features. These include a separate Conversation section, OneTime Permissions, and the new Notification History. Likewise, there has been the introduction of Chat Bubbles and a native Screen Recorder. The Media Player has now also been moved to the Quick Settings with some handy Media Controls options.

With such a long list of goodies to offer, no doubt you will want to try out the Lineage OS 18.1 Android 11 on Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-I9505. But before we list out the installation steps, please go through the prerequisites section. Make sure your device meets all the mentioned requirements. Pre-Requisites

This will work on Samsung 
GT-I9505 model (Don’t Try this on Any other device)
Charge your phone up to 80% or 70%.
Download the latest Samsung USB Drivers.
You will lose the original ROM or any Custom ROM if you already installed on your phone. 
Make sure to Backup your phone before doing this steps.
Download all the Zip files from download section.


Installation

Step 1: Download Custom ROM + Gapps packages from the downloads section to your PC. Do not unzip the packages.

Step 2: Connect your phone to PC using a USB cable.

Step 3: Transfer the downloaded packages into the root of phone or SD card memory.

Step 4: Once the transfer is done, turn off your phone.

Step 5: Open the Download Mode and Connect your Phone by USB Cable to PC.

Step 5: Open Odin Tool and Click AP to Add Recovery file then the Custom Recovery will install in your phone.

Step 6: Booting into Custom Recovery, select Wipe. Then in Advanced Wipe tick mark Dalvik / ART CacheSystemCache and Data and Swipe to wipe.

Step 7: Go back to the main menu Select Install then Browse to the location where you saved the Custom ROM and GApps files. First, select the ROM and Swipe to Install it and same way with Gapps file.

Step 8: If you are done with all the above steps, reboot system.
